Administrator Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our residential care facility for adults with intellectual disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care, home care, and operations management, with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for residents. This role requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage staff while ensuring compliance with Title 22 and Title 17 regulations as well as HCBS regulations..

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Title 22, Title 17 in HCBS regulations.

- Oversee the care provided to residents, ensuring their needs are met by caregivers..
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including resident rights and safety protocols.
- Insure all required documentation for facility is completed and maintained

- Schedule and coordinate all medical appointments for residents, including transportation to and from appointments.
- Collaborate with Health care providers, conservators, and other team members to provide comprehensive care plans for residents.
- Maintain open communication with residents and their families to address concerns and feedback effectively.
- Be available for all state evaluations, ensuring the facility remains in compliance with all regulations.

- Collaborate closely with corporate office personnel and licensee to oversee all operations of the facility.

Requirements

- Have a current administrator certification by the Department of social services.
- Proven experience in care administration or related fields such as long-term care or home community care.
- Strong understanding of resident rights and regulations governing residential care homes.

- Thorough understanding of Title 22 and Title 17 regulations, as well as HCBS laws.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in operations management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $68,640.00 per year

Experience:

  • Management: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Adult Residential Facilities Administrator (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Red Bluff, CA 96080: Relocate before starting work (Required)
